Amazon’s Echo Frames 3

Amazon recently released the Echo Frames 3, a pair of smart glasses that don’t have a camera like the Ray-Ban Meta. These glasses focus on audio, with speakers in the temples for music or podcasts. Unlike traditional headphones, they don’t cover your ears completely, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings. While they’re loud and suitable for casual music listening, the audio quality isn’t impressive.

The main feature of the Echo Frames is their integration with Amazon’s voice assistant, Alexa. You can use voice commands to play/pause music, make calls, and set reminders. The glasses come in five styles and can be customized with prescription lenses, blue light filtering, or sunglass options. The battery life is claimed to be 14 hours for moderate usage, and the glasses come with a collapsible charging case.

Compared to the Ray-Ban Meta, the Echo Frames are $30 cheaper at $270. However, the reviewer suggests spending the extra $30 on the Meta, citing a more convenient and well-designed charging case. As of now, Amazon is offering the Echo Frames at a discounted price of $200.
